It was a great day!! We appreciate your patience with dismissal. Help us out by having car tags displayed when you arrive. We will memorize cars, and students will learn the procedures for loading spots before we know it. See you tomorrow. There will be staff to help students enter.

Meet Mrs. Henry, our new fourth-grade teacher!! Mrs. Henry is a familiar face to Young Elementary (aka Ms. Hebert). She was a fifth-grade teacher at Young a few years ago. After getting married, she has returned to NWA, and we are so excited to have her back in our Yellowjacket family.

We are so excited to have Nurse Brandie at Young Elementary School. Stop by and meet her at the Open House on August 6th.

Thursday is our last Summer STEAM day. Drop in the library between 9-11 for some STEAM fun. This week we will have the Workbench Collective joining us!

Two fun things this week- Summer Skate Night is Tuesday from 6-8 at Roller City ($5). Summer STEAM is Thursday (drop-in) from 9-11. Enter through the library on the west side of BYE (experiments, arts, building). Please plan to stay with your child- these events are not drop-off.
