Hey Yellowjacket Families! Conference week is approaching soon and we need your help to make it extra special for our amazing teachers & staff. We are going to treat them to a homemade soup, salad, & don't forget the breadsticks lunch on Tuesday, March 10th, and provide a few snacks & sweet treats for them to enjoy throughout the week. Our theme is an "Olive Garden Fake Out Take Out." Olive Garden serves 4 delicious soups which include Minestrone, Pasta e Fagioli, Zuppa Toscana, & Chicken & Gnocchi. This is where we need your help, calling all Chefs (and amazing home cooks) Please review the Sign Up and select a soup to cook or a treat to bring to help show our teachers some extra special love. What says we love you more than a big ole warm hug in a bowl of homemade soup?
Here's the details:
1. To keep the soups consistent, links to the recipes will be provided in the signup link. Please reach out to Elizabeth Butler for a copy of the recipes if you need one. elipsme@hotmail.com
2. Bring your cooked soup in a CROCKPOT the morning of TUESDAY March 10th to put in the BYE teacher lounge. Someone from PTA or the office will be there to assist you.
3. If you want to double the recipe that's fantastic, please indicate that on the signup by choosing 2 slots.
4. We will serve around 70 teachers & staff members. Each recipe seems to serve 6-10.
5. You can pick up your cleaned out crockpot at the end of the day at pick up or the following day.
6. All snacks & treats need to be dropped off in the office by TUESDAY, March 10th as well. Please let the office know it is for Conference week or teacher's lounge.
