Here is a Zoom schedule for the upcoming Remote Learning Week November 30th - December 4th. All students are required to log into one of the 2 Zoom times offered for their grade level. In addition to the daily Zoom with their class, their teacher will be posting lessons and activities for all core subject areas in Seesaw for K-2nd and Google Classroom for 3rd-5th. If your child was absent on the Thursday or Friday before Thanksgiving break, and your child did not take their technology device home, you can pick it up in our office Monday afternoon. Any day a student does not complete their work for the day, it is counted as an absence, so it is very important for an adult to be monitoring and facilitating each students work at home. If your child is struggling with something, reach out to the classroom teacher between 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Teachers will be monitoring their email as well as their Seesaw or Google Classroom to support students. Teachers will also be scheduling virtual and in person small groups throughout the week, so be sure to watch for communication from your child's teacher on this as well as the Zoom links. We are sad not to see all students back on Monday, but as always student safety is our number one concern. We thank you for supporting your child's learning at home. We worked with the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) to notify individuals who were close contacts of the positive case and to quarantine those individuals. Close contacts are people who have been within 6 feet for 15 or more minutes of the positive person. If you did not receive a call from the district or ADH, additional action is not required. Of course, you may contact your medical provider to determine if anything is necessary for you or your student. At this time, closures are not necessary. Thank you for your patience during drop off and pick up during the rain. We know it makes things a little slower. Hopefully only one more rainy day and then some sunshine! A few reminders: *When dropping off on the side of the school pull all the way forward and students can go in the door they are closest to. We can unload more cars if everyone pulls up and cars all the way down the sidewalk unload at the same time. *If you need to change the way your child goes home from school, it is best to call before 2:30 so that we can get the message to your child.
